The purpose of this white paper is to present basic guidelines for source code reviews
to assist litigation teams in negotiating the terms of protective orders, to improve cost estimates, and to
enable technical experts to streamline their analysis.
Our paper is targeted towards attorneys and judges who often have to cope with unfamiliar issues when one side needs to review the source code of their opponent's. We attempt to shed light on the important considerations that need to be addressed, based on a dozen or so years of experience performing such reviews.
